Item description
Up for sale is a John Deere 5020 Farm Tractor. It has the 531 six cylinder diesel engine that starts and runs good. The tractor dynoed at 130 Horsepower. The tractor is syncro shift, it shifts very smooth with little wear in the shifting lever. The tractor is a standard model, so no three point hitch, but it does have 1000 pto. The tractor came original from the factory with a cab, but it has since been removed as I was going to convert it to an open station wheatland. I have purchased all the correct sheet metal to convert it to a wheatland, including the battery boxes, dust shields, and clam shell fenders. All the sheet metal is very straight and in good condition with minimal rust. The hood on the tractor is straight also, with little rust. The tractor has roughly 8600 hours. All the sheetmetal is currently off the tractor as I was going to repaint the tractor, just lost interest. It will need four new tires, as the tires on it are checked badly. This tractor would be a great restoration project, as it runs and drives great, and everything is included to make it an open station wheatland tractor. No shipping, I do have a loading dock on my property to assist in loading.
